Tomorrow's Craft: Spiders!

This is a picture of our craft tomorrow. Isn't it cute? You know those small round spikey things that fall out of trees? Lucky for us Grandma Sue likes collecting them! We are using those for the body of the spider.

Space Bug Craft!

It has been very busy and very exciting here at the Pomona Public Libray! Many of you have come in to sign up for the Summer Reading Program and to the crafts and to our programs. Everything here is free and the air conditioning is wonderful! It's the best deal in town. As of now, 677 children have signed up and 112 teens have signed up, for a total of 789 readers! We are hoping to top 1,000 this year so come in and let that happen.

Today's picture is a picture of the craft that Grandma Sue will be doing tomorrow. It's a space bug! Cute isn't it? Here is a list of activities this week:

(This is an animal program were they bring real animals and bugs. One time they made me eat a mealworm. I hope they don't do that again!)

New Library Hours Begin Monday, June 30, 2008

These pictures were taken today in our Laura Ingalls Wilder room. Summer is a great time to come to the library and read with your family and friends.

Just a note to remind all of you that we begin our new hours this Monday. The new hours are:

Monday - Thursday: 12:00pm - 8:30pm
Friday - Saturday: 12:00pm - 5:30pm

Life In the Library!

Happy Saturday! It's been a nice cool Saturday at Pomona Public Library. Our air conditioner works well and we're very happy for that. The fires in Pomona are out and life is good.
