Welcome to the Laura Ingalls Wilder Children's Room!

Ms. Clara Webber was the first children's librarian of Pomona Public Library. A long time correspondent with Mrs. Laura Ingalls Wilder, she was instrumental in having the Children's Room named in honor of Mrs. Wilder on May 25, 1950. Today, we house the original hand written manuscript for the novel Little Town on the Prairie. Every February, we host the Laura Ingalls Wilder Sociable in honor of Mrs. Wilder's February 7th birthday.

It's Almost April!

Good Monday young Pomonans! Weeks fly by so fast around here. It's almost April! (Are you getting your April fools jokes in order?) We are. We're going to have really silly stories in story time. The sillier the better!

Our weekly activities are:

Monday 12-2pm Elf

Tuesday: 12:15pm Preschool story time
3:00pm After school story time

Wednesday: 3:30-4:30pm Grandparents and books.

Thursday: 12:15pm Infant story time

The homework help center will be closed for the next two weeks. If you need homework help, we are here for you but the Cal Poly students won't be.

Joke of the day: How can you tell when a whale is sad?
Answer: By its blubber-ing. :)
