Good Tuesday to you, young Pomonans! I had a great time at the Phillips Mansion in Pomona on Sunday. Tours were given on the first floor and I actually got to go inside! I've been wanting to see this house for years and it was great to finally see it. I hope you all took the opportunity to see it.Joke of the day: Why do spiders enjoy computers so much?

Yes, this was a wonderful and well-attended event. In spite of the heat, people lined up for tours of the mansion and the "flea circus." Lots of great snacks, too..all for $1 each!
My only complaint was being unable to take photos inside the mansion, even without a flash. :(
I'd be curious to know when they might have the Currier House (the home behind Phillips Mansion) restored and open for tours.

I don't know if they're giving tours or not. Contact the Pomona Historical Society. They would know for sure.
