Welcome to the Laura Ingalls Wilder Children's Room!

Ms. Clara Webber was the first children's librarian of Pomona Public Library. A long time correspondent with Mrs. Laura Ingalls Wilder, she was instrumental in having the Children's Room named in honor of Mrs. Wilder on May 25, 1950. Today, we house the original hand written manuscript for the novel Little Town on the Prairie. Every February, we host the Laura Ingalls Wilder Sociable in honor of Mrs. Wilder's February 7th birthday.

Grandma Sue's craft is tomorrow at 3:00pm

This is our craft tomorrow that Grandma Sue will be leading. The pictures here are colored in but she will hand them out blank so you can color it the way you want. There is a slight chance that Grandma Sue will be out tomorrow and if she is, never fear! I am actually able to do this craft. Surprised? Me too! I am capable of carrying out the paper and the colors and distributing them to you! Cool! Finally a craft I can do! :)

Another joke of the day: Do straight-A students get engaged?
Answer: Yes, but first they just go study. :)
