Welcome to the Laura Ingalls Wilder Children's Room!

Ms. Clara Webber was the first children's librarian of Pomona Public Library. A long time correspondent with Mrs. Laura Ingalls Wilder, she was instrumental in having the Children's Room named in honor of Mrs. Wilder on May 25, 1950. Today, we house the original hand written manuscript for the novel Little Town on the Prairie. Every February, we host the Laura Ingalls Wilder Sociable in honor of Mrs. Wilder's February 7th birthday.

Future Artists of Pomona

Yes, young Pomonans, it all starts here. Today preschool story time, tomorrow the Arts Colony. Your pictures are wonderful and I am very proud to display them. It is possible that you can view them on Pomona TV News. Images of Pomona is a new blog that has all sorts of cool Pomona history. My friend Ren has shown an interest in Pomona's kids and he is willing to display them. Very cool!

It is so great to have you all back working here at the library. It is so fun for us when you are here. I get to see all of the great Pomona kids and there are so many more good kids out there.

Come in! We are here for you.

Joke of the day: Knock knock
