Welcome to the Laura Ingalls Wilder Children's Room!

Ms. Clara Webber was the first children's librarian of Pomona Public Library. A long time correspondent with Mrs. Laura Ingalls Wilder, she was instrumental in having the Children's Room named in honor of Mrs. Wilder on May 25, 1950. Today, we house the original hand written manuscript for the novel Little Town on the Prairie. Every February, we host the Laura Ingalls Wilder Sociable in honor of Mrs. Wilder's February 7th birthday.

Green Little Fairies At Story Time!

We had a GREAT green day at story time today! These three were especially cute! Thanks to their Moms for letting me post them.

Joke of the day: What kind of animal should never take a test?
Answer: The Cheetah! ;)

hi ms lois...still missing storytime. i'm going to try making it next week. I noticed the date on the green day picture... 2041, what will the library be like in 30 years? Maybe Ethan will bring his children in for storytime and say "my mother brought me in when i was a wee one". take care

Yes,Maribel, I noticed that but I don't know how to fix it! I'll take it to a real tech person. We miss you and Ethan too and hope you can come next week.
