Welcome to the Laura Ingalls Wilder Children's Room!

Ms. Clara Webber was the first children's librarian of Pomona Public Library. A long time correspondent with Mrs. Laura Ingalls Wilder, she was instrumental in having the Children's Room named in honor of Mrs. Wilder on May 25, 1950. Today, we house the original hand written manuscript for the novel Little Town on the Prairie. Every February, we host the Laura Ingalls Wilder Sociable in honor of Mrs. Wilder's February 7th birthday.

I'd Like to Know What's So Funny!

It looks like these dolphins are having one heck of a good time! Dolphins are supposed to be very intelligent and communicate with each other. I hope they do a better job than we do. :)

Here are our activities for this week after Easter:

Monday: 12-2pm Elf (Early Learning Families)

Tuesday: 12:15pm Preschool Story time.
3:00pm After school story time
4-6pm Homework Help Center

Wednesday: 3:30-4:30pm Grandparents and books
4-6pm Homework Help Center

Thursday: 12:15pm Infant story time
4-6pm Homework Help Center

It is so good to have the homework help center open again. Cal Poly Pomona was on spring break and are now able to come back. It's been dismal without them. They are so good with all of you. :)

Joke of the day: What kind of ball should you never play soccer with?
Answer: An eyeball. (Yuck!)
