We all empathize with Roscoe the Pug dog. It looks like he is in a library too with no air conditioning. I notice people aren't staying as long and I don't blame them. If you want air conditioning, it looks like you'll have to go to the mall.

We will have our Bubble Mania program inside tomorrow but all others will be outside under the shade trees. Please bring a blanket or something to sit on so you will be more comfortable.

We will make it through this! The show will go on! Long live Pomona!!

Good Monday, young Pomonans! This is the first Monday we have been open in over a year and it's good to be back. Sadly, we will be closed Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays.

This Wednesday, July 14th is a special program with bubbles. Bubble Mania will be showing different and all kinds of bubbles. You might end up INSIDE one! Since our theme this year is: Make a Splash @ Your Library, we thought a bubble program would be appropriate.

Don't forget! It's this Wednesday, July 14th at 3:30pm.

Swazzle Puppet Show

Great Wednesday, young Pomonans! We had a splendid time with Swazzle. I told you they were good! Swazzle did a circus program this year and we enjoyed it very much.

Next week is Bubble Mania. Come and get inside a real bubble!

Good Tuesday, young Pomonans! I'm sorry to have to tell you that our air conditioning is still out, so if you come to the library, wear something cool. It sounds like there is something seriously wrong with it so it may take a while to fix.

This coming Wednesday, July 7th at 3:30pm we will be having an amazing puppet show by Swazzle. For those of you who were here last year, you saw how amazing they are. They even have a segment of shadow puppets. Very awesome!

The air conditioning is still not working today. Hopefully it will be working next week. I'll keep you posted.

Hello young Pomonans!

As some of you felt yesterday, our air conditioning went out. It is still out today so if you're looking for somewhere to stay out of the heat, try the mall. But we are still here and we are doing our best to joke about it and so far it's working. (I hope that is still true around 4pm) ;)

Today is our last Thursday to be open so we are all appreciating that. It will be our last infant story time as well. We are combining the two story times (infant and toddler) for the summer and we will re-evaluate it in September.
