Halloween Craft!

The fun has begun! Our Halloween craft began with fun here at the library. The Halloween figure was given to everyone in pieces. It's so cool to give everyone the same thing and see how different they turn out. For example, one child thought that it would look more scary if they put the smile upside down. She's right. I still marvel at the creativity here with PPL kids. Hooray young Pomonans!

Joke of the day: What should you do with rude pepperoni?
Answer: Give it a pizza your mind. ;)

The Second Week of the Big Read!

Well done young Pomonans! The story time and crafts went great. The leaves you all made will be put in an arch as you come into the Children's Room. The Cal Poly Pomona students did a great job of reading and crafting. It is so nice to have them here.

Remember that next week we will be having two crafts. Wednesday will be the Halloween Craft and Thursday will be the big read craft.
