Our teens over at Village Academy are telling it like it is. If you're not familiar with Village Academy, it is located where the old Pomona mall was on Holt and Indian Hill. This location also houses Pueblo Elementary School. I was out there not to long ago and it was interesting to walk down the halls that used to be a mall and instead of shops there are classrooms.
In today's Daily Bulletin, staff writer Diana Sholley tells the story of how teens are being affected by the economic crisis. They made an emotional, unscripted video that speaks of how the economic crisis is affecting today's teenagers. The students are trying to raise money to bring the video to Sacramento or Washington. Anyone who would like to donate should contact Village Academy High School, 1444 E. Holt Ave., Pomona, (909) 397-4900.
For those of us who can, let us reach right back to our teens and help in whatever way we can.
