Welcome to the Laura Ingalls Wilder Children's Room!

Ms. Clara Webber was the first children's librarian of Pomona Public Library. A long time correspondent with Mrs. Laura Ingalls Wilder, she was instrumental in having the Children's Room named in honor of Mrs. Wilder on May 25, 1950. Today, we house the original hand written manuscript for the novel Little Town on the Prairie. Every February, we host the Laura Ingalls Wilder Sociable in honor of Mrs. Wilder's February 7th birthday.

Story Time to Begin Again at PPL!

Good Monday young Pomonans!  I bring GREAT news!  Story time will begin again this week at YOUR Pomona Public Library!  Here are the days and times:

Tuesdays:  10:15am  Preschool children ages 2-5.
Wednesdays:  2:30pm  Family story time all ages.

On December 18th the library is changing its hours from 10:00am to 3:00pm to 2:00pm to 7:00pm.  When that happens our Tuesday preschool program will be at 2:30pm as well.

What good news for all of us at the Pomona Public Library!!

Joke of the day:  How do you know carrots are good for your eyes?
Answer:  Because you never see rabbits wearing glasses!  ;)
