WOW!! Did we have a great time with willow?? YES!! Willow is a wonderful dog and her trainer, Officer Hernandez was a great storyteller. He told us of her work as a k9 detective. In fact, Willow received an award from the City of Pomona. Officer Hernandez and Willow were flown up to Northern California to help find a fugitive who was hiding in a huge wilderness area and was armed with a gun. They had been looking for this fugitive for five weeks with no luck. When officer Hernandez and Willow got there, they found the fugitive on the second day.We are so proud of them! As you can see in the pictures, Willow loves everyone. She's very good with small children. Isn't her badge cool??
If you weren't here you missed a wonderful time. We asked Officer Hernandez that when Willow retires, would she be willing to be a library dog?? Please??? :)
